Not so much.
In fact, it makes me really angry.
I write for a living, in many realms, many genres. It pays my bills but I also write because it is what I love.
Someone has stolen 3 or more of my posts and pretended they were her own.
She posts on Adult Friend Finder and one of my readers sent me the links.
She's stolen a lot of other bloggers' posts too.
If you want the scoop, I'll be glad to give you the links if you send me an email.
You have to have an AFF account which, believe it or not, I didn't have.
It was worth it to me to be able to read my work being passed off as hers.
Such a snaky thing for someone to do, don't you think?

Thanks, MAC, it doesn't bum me out really. It just makes me angry that someone, WITHOUT AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT IN THEIR HEAD, is getting all this attention on my talent and hotness! (grin)
I use to do a bit of writing for an advocacy organization. We use to laugh at one of our allies because they would pirate our talking pieces and pretend they were originally theirs. Finally their executive director died and that was the end of it. Don't screw with me. :)

Storm, it's very annoying, but consider how pathetic they must be to steal other peoples work.
Of course it is also a backhanded compliment, but reflects badly, only on the thief.

I HATE plaguerism - back when I had another erotic story blog and had a lot more material on it - I had at least 20 of my stories stolen and passed off as someone else's - drove me NUTS. I wouldn't mind the links - just to see (not that I suspect she has anything of mine).
That's a shame, Storm. I guess you could be flattered though, that she stole such excellent writing.

I know EXACTLY who you are talking about...FoxyNE right? She's plagiarized over 16 of my posts and what pisses me off most is that she sometimes gets more comments on MY posts than I do!! I went in to her main page and politely asked her to stop, but haven't had the time to see if she did. This is ridiculous!!!
